Attach 6 door installation brackets to the outside of the door jamb the wood frame to which the door comes pre attached.

Attach the door installation brackets.
Tape your level to a straight 2x4 as shown.
Next shim the center area of the jamb to straighten it and then nail it.
Also measure the jamb depth.
Level it out against the door frame by placing shims behind it.
Shim the bottom of the door frame about 4 in.
Drive two nails through each shim about an inch from each edge of the jamb with one about a inch above the other.
After the frame is set i usually like to hang the door to check the fit and twea.
